Doug Ward and his company are devoted to effective problem solving and process improvement using a strongly analytical approach. Before creating his own company in 2002, Doug spent eight years in leadership and senior consulting positions serving the manufacturing, service and financial sectors. He has extensive experience in quality systems, assurance and control.

His background also includes 26 years in domestic and international leadership positions in the metals and mining industry. Among his academic credentials, he is an engineer, trainer and mentor of Six Sigma Black Belts, Master Black Belts, and senior executives. He has served as examiner for state Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and judge for Excellence in Manufacturing Awards.

Doug has devoted his career to solving chronic business problems and improving business systems through the application of basic and advanced analytical tools. He is skilled in statistical methods, data-mining, and exploratory data analysis using a wide variety of analytical software applications. Other competencies include forecasting, multivariate statistical modeling, analytical business modeling, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Manufacturing, benchmarking, ISO and QS certification.
